Datatrak reiterates willingness to protect its IP in court

Datatrak believes several competitors infringe its intellectual property and it is willing to challenge them.

In June Datatrak filed a lawsuit against Medidata Solutions and this week reiterated its willingness to go through the “long and protracted process” of protecting its intellectual property in court.

With everything that we’ve learned to date, we remain confident in our position and will vigorously defend our intellectual property. We believe a number of our competitors infringe”, Lawrence Birch, CEO of Datatrak, said.

Birch said “accused infringers” have used tactics “that could significantly delay resolution of the dispute”. If Datatrak’s case is successful it intends “to have them cease infringement”, Birch said.
