News from Parexel, Deloitte and Cerafor – People on the move

Parexel is on the hunt for a new senior VP and CFO after the announcement its current man James Winschel will become executive VP.
The services organisation will search both internally and externally, and say Winschel – who is set to retire in 2014 – will help the new hire’s transition into the role.
Josef von Rickenbach, chairman and CEO, said: "I look forward to working with Jim in his new role, and I know that the company will continue to benefit from his significant financial expertise and industry knowledge."
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has named Russ Rudish as new leader for the global health care sector.
In his new role, he will assess challenges for the firm’s growth plans, including regulatory issues, economic challenges in different markets and rising consumer activism in health care.
He will also continue in his current position as the firm’s head of the health care providers group.
Biometrics provider Cerafor has drafted John Salter and Leanne Silk onto its leadership team.
Salter, who joins from Cmed Clinical Services where he was principal statistician, will become the firm’s global head of biostatistics.
Former global leader for a team of data managers at Pfizer Silk will become head of data management activities.
"John and Leanne will greatly strengthen our leadership team, and our clients will appreciate their determination to offer only the best quality biometrics services,” said Martin Wilson, executive director.
Adam Chasse has become the new COO for clinical research networking and consultancy firm RxTrials.
Chasse, who first joined the firm last year as VP of corporate development, will take charge of the company’s business development, corporate strategy and contracting.
Christine Pierre, founder and president of RxTrials said: "As a company, we are growing and developing opportunities. Adam's industry experience and leadership qualities are the ideal combination for this important new position."
Contract sales service firm Pharmexx Canada has named Hans Christian Hansen as its new managing director.
He is also strategic business unit director and member of the executive committee for Invida of Singapore.
“We are in a strong position to further develop our innovative service offerings in accordance with our customers’ needs in a rapidly changing marketplace,” Hansen said of his new firm.
