SAFC expands PharmaGrade raw material portfolio to meet demands
The PharmaGrade line – launched earlier this year – is made up of buffers, amino acids and speciality chemicals that each come with documented production history and regulatory support documentation.
The firm - the custom manufacturing branch of Sigma-Aldrich - said the line's creation was in response to a need for greater supply chain transparency and enhanced risk management in biopharma production.
VP of marketing and research development Deborah Slagle said: “We are able to offer raw materials that encourage quality by design in the early phases of development, while increasing our customers’ and potential customers’ confidence in the raw materials they are using. More importantly, this line of products saves time for clients that are looking for hard-to-find products with readily available documentation.”
