People on the move: outsourcing jobs
The Interpublic Group, has reshuffled the management team at its subsidiary the McCann Worldgroup unit.
Harris Diamond, formerly the chairman and CEO of IPG’s Constituency Management Group (CMG), will take on the same role for McCann Worldgroup. He replaces Nick Brien, who according to Campaign was “ousted”.
Luca Lindner, currently president of McCann Worldgroup Americas, will take on additional responsibilities for the Middle East and Africa, whilst Europe president Gustavo Martinez will also look after Asia-Pacific.
Diamond, Linder and Martinez will also take on the chairman role in a three-person office.
ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services (RPS) has named Jonathon Fishbein its new chief medical officer and executive VP.
In his new role Fishbein will take charge of the medical, safety and medical writing teams. He joins the contract research organisation (CRO) from Icon, where he was VP of medical services.
Chief operating officer Alan Morgan said: "His addition builds on the depth and breadth of our strategic medical affairs leadership, and allows RPS to continue the growth of our global drug safety organisation."
Idea Pharma has drafted in two new members of the “Ideation” medical investigator team.
The news hires – former Parexel Consulting director Partha Ghosh, and AstraZeneca’s medical affairs scientist Peter Wootton – will work on the Phase II strategy provider’s clinical and regulatory design capabilities.

Both Ghosh and Wootton were enthusiastic about the company’s model, saying it will “change the way pharma works”.
Nicole Temples has joined HCB Health as account supervisor.
Prior to her new role with the healthcare ad and marketing agency, she worked for Ignition DG. In her new role she will lead the global ophthalmology marketing operations.
“Nicole’s expertise in congress management, coupled with her experience in medical education and pharmaceutical communication, will be a major asset in servicing our growing number of accounts,” said Amy Smith, VP of account services.
Commericalisation service provider Cadient has hired Chris Mycek as its new chief customer officer.
In his new role he will oversee Cadient Group’s customer development process.
“His experience in developing category-leading brands within the pharmaceutical, biotech and consumer healthcare categories has paralleled his ability to integrate new channels and technologies into the marketing mix,” said Stephen Wray, president and CEO.
PwC has taken on Michael Swanick as global pharmaceutical and life sciences industry leader.
Swanick – who has been with the tax and advisory services firm for 28 years – is also US pharmaceutical and life sciences leader and global tax leader.
“Mike is uniquely qualified for this role having been at the forefront of this industry for nearly three decades while at PwC,” said David Levy, MD and global health industries practice leader.
