Provider of payment technologies for the clinical trials industry, Greenphire, has announced the appointment of Rory O’Hare as Global Product Manager.
O’Hare, who becomes Greenphire’s first UK appointment, has had over 20 years of experience in IT with the last 8 focused on Health Care. He comes direct from his role as IT Consultant at ICON.
Kyle Cunningham, Vice President of Product Management, Greenphire welcomed O’Hare, adding: “In recent years, the Company has grown significantly and this first UK appointment underpins our growth strategy into Europe and beyond.”
Dr. Claus Braestrup has joined the Board of Directors at Swedish firm Gyros AB.
Previously President and CEo at Lundbeck, Braestrup comes from a wealth of high-end jobs including roles at Novo Nordisk and Schering.
CEO at Gyros, Erik Walldén said: “His excellent scientific background and many years’ experience within the biotech and pharmaceutical industry will be a great asset to Gyros.”
Sticking with Gyros, the Swedish company has also announced that Dr Henrik Björkman will join them taking the role of CTO and VP Technical Affairs.
Björkman was most recently Director, MicroCal R&D at GE Healthcare and has much experience in senior positions within R&D.
Walldén once again welcomed the new appointment, and said: “Bringing extensive experience in product development and manufacturing for globalized, commercial organizations in the life science tools industry, Henrik will be a great asset for the continued development of our microfluidic immunoassay technology.”
AbelsonTaylor has made a couple of promotions this week, with Carrie Hixson (left) taking the job of Senior Account Advisor.
Hixson, who has been with the healthcare advertising company since 2010, will lead one of the agency’s leading hypertension accounts, working in support of a portfolio of four products in the category.
Bill Morley (right) will take on the role of Account Executive.
Morley has been at the company since 2011, working previously as Project Co-Ordinator at brand design firm Kaleidoscope.
