We begin this week with news from contract research organisation PPD who has announced the appointment of Jay Dixon as Senior Vice President, Global Quality and Compliance.
Global CRO Chiltern International Limited has announced it is to promote Stuart McGuire (pictured) to the position of Vice President, Global Business Development, and Jim Szymeczek to the position of Vice President, Global Information Technology and Systems.
First off at Vermillion, ex CEO and CFO of Claro Scientific Thomas McLain has been appointed as President and CEO.
“We expect to benefit from Tom's seasoned skills, abilities and insights as we pursue strategies that expand our product pipeline and advance the development and commercial adoption of our diagnostic tests,” said James Burns who, at the time, was Chairman of the Board…
…But now James Burns has been replaced at Vermillion, staying on the Board but handing over his reigns as Chairman to Bruce Huebner.
And finally for this instalment, the CRO Premier Research has added a depth of talent to key leadership roles in its paediatric and rare disease clinical trial research disciplines.
