Theorem Clinical Research has added two executives to its team in the forms of Alison Taber and Jeff Wiley.
Taber – with 20 years of experience, the latest at INC Research where she was executive director of strategic alliance management – takes on the role of vice president of global data management.
Wiley will serve as senior director of clinical operations, and has 13 years of experience including serving as senior director of clinical operations for PRA.
Earlier this week Outsourcing-Pharma.com published news that Theorem had allied with Emergo in order to become the go-to outsourcing partner for medical developers seeking long-term data. Read about it here.
Next up is news from the WuXiPRA Chinese joint venture, who has named Dr. James Pursey as President and General Manager, as reported this week in this publication.
“Under James's leadership, we believe WuXiPRA will become the clinical CRO of choice in China," said Dr. Ge Li, Chairman and CEO of WuXi PharmaTech.
"WuXi PharmaTech's local expertise and PRA's leading-edge global systems and processes will enable customers to conduct the highest-quality clinical trials in China quickly and successfully for Chinese and international regulatory filings.”
To Aesica next who - hot on the hiring train having featured in last week’s People column – has announced two more appointments.
Sven Thomas (pictured) and David Ross join the CDMO as business development managers in order to increase sales from its integrated API, formulation development and manufacturing services unit recently announced.
Thomas will handle Central and Eastern Europe whilst Ross will focus on the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
Swiss-headquartered contract research organisation PSI CRO has appointed Andrea Cracraft as Director, Clinical Operations North America.
Cracraft, who has over 15 years of experience in clinical research, said: “I am happy to have a chance to contribute to the growth of clinical operations in North America and to build upon the company’s excellent reputation for delivering clinical trials on-schedule and on-budget for our clients.”
Provider of technology systems used to collect patient-driven eData for clinical research, PHT, has named senior executive Steven Rosenberg Chief Operating Officer, with responsibility for all aspects of Product Development, Product Management and Service Delivery.
“Steve has more than 30 years of experience in operations at some of the most successful Boston-area high tech companies,” said PHT President and CEO Philip Lee.
“PHT has a tremendous opportunity for rapid growth in the coming years as trial sponsors rapidly adopt electronic systems to replace outdated paper processes and move to more patient-centric research models. Steve is extremely familiar with the eClinical industry and understands the critical role technology systems play in clinical research.”
