Jacques Tapiero - Eli Lilly
Jacques Tapiero is set to retire from his role as senior vice president and president of the Emerging Markets business at Eli Lilly, after serving the company for 31 years.
Tapiero has been in the role since 2009, previously serving as president of the intercontinental region for Lilly.
“Jacques' leadership has been characterized by strong operational skills and a keen focus on the development of Lilly people around the world. Jacques has been an exemplar of our values of integrity, excellence, and respect for people,” said Lilly CEO John Lechleiter.
He will be replaced by Alfonso "Chito" Zulueta, promoted from his role of president and general manager of Lilly Japan which he has served since 2008.
