PTI: Tony Mitchell
Tony Mitchell has joined Pharma Tech Industries (PTI) as President and Chief Operating Officer. His previous 13 years were at food service company Morrison Management Specialists, the last eight spent as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.
Tee Noland, Chairman of PTI, said Mitchell had been appointed to take charge of the company’s growing operations. “Tony has a tremendous reputation for building world class organizations, and is a welcome addition to the PTI family,” said Noland.
PTI recently expanded its facilities in Royston, Georgia, adding an analytic laboratory for prescription and over-the-counter drugs. The CMO has also invested several million dollars in expanding its manufacturing plant in Missouri by 60,000 square feet, to house a production room for ingestible powders. The company expects completion by March 2014.
