Novella Clinical
Novella Clinical, a contract research organization (CRO) acquired by Quintiles last September, has named Chris Smyth as MD of its European and Asian operations.
Smyth has held several haematology and oncology roles in CROs and biopharmaceutical companies, including most recently as senior VP of clinical development in INC Research’s cancer division.
Smyth succeeds Elizabeth Edwards, who will become executive VP of global operations in Novella’s clinical monitoring division.
Novella has dual headquarters in North Carolina and in Stevenage, England. It specializes in services for small and mid-size oncology clients, as well as medical devices companies.
