The PM Society
The PM Society, a not-for-profit group whose members promote marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, has appointed new co-Chairs Rachel Farrow (pictured) and Carwyn Jones. Under their leadership, “20 to 30 new committee recruits will be identified to support the core Executive team according to their interest and expertise in key areas – the Digital interest group, Advertising Awards, Digital Media Awards, Training and education, Patient engagement, NHS partnerships and Market Access,” said the company.
Farrow has been on the PM Society Committee for eight years, and is Chair of the Society’s Digital Media Awards. She has worked in healthcare communications for 22 years and is an independent consultant.
Jones is MD at Earthworks, a healthcare communications agency which is part of the OPEN Health group.
The PM Society, which has 230 member companies including pharmaceutical outsourcing firms, provides marketing workshops for its members and otherwise works with the media to support them. Eamon O’Brien has additionally been chosen to head the PM Society’s PriMe flexible modular training programme. O’Brien is MD of the CR&C Organisation.
