Rabin Martin - Jeffrey Sturchio
Consultancy firm Rabin Martin has appointed Jeffrey Sturchio as President and CEO. The firm works with big pharma – including Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co. and AstraZeneca – and NGOs such as UNICEF on matters of business, philanthropy and public health. Its work includes designing and implementing programmes for underserved populations in the US, Europe, emerging markets and least developed countries.
Sturchio has been a senior partner at Rabin Martin for three years, working as the company’s chief strategist on programmes with the United Nations, Merck KGaA and Novo Nordisk. He specialises in developing innovative market access strategies for the growing epidemic of non-communicable diseases.
The new President is also Chairman of the BroadReach Institute of Training and Education, and serves on the boards of the US Pharmacopeia and the Corporate Council on Africa. He is an advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative, the NCD Alliance, amfAR, the Global Health Group of the University of California, San Francisco, and the Center for Health and Wellbeing at Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
His previous roles include VP for Corporate Responsibility at Merck & Co., President of The Merck Company Foundation, Chairman of the US Corporate Council on Africa and CEO of the Global Health Council.
