CiToxLAB
CiToxLAB, a mid-sized preclinical contract research organisation with sites in Europe and Canada, has appointed Philippe Ancian as Senior Director of Biomarkers.
The CRO, which specialises in environmental studies and toxicology in primates and minipigs, was formed in 2011 through the merger of CIT and LAB-Research.
Ancian joined CiT in 2005 to develop a functional genomics platform at the company’s site in Evreux, France.
He has also worked as Director of R&D at Protéus and most recently at Transgène as Senior Director of the Vectorology and Biomarkers departments.
“Over time, we plan to offer most of the activities associated with biomarkers not just in Europe from our Evreux and Saint-Nazaire sites, but also in North America from our site in Montreal,” said CEO Jean-François Le Bigot.
“Therefore, this is a real strategic development and we are confident that Philippe’s scientific, organizational and commercial skills will help him fulfil this mandate.”
