MedDay
Sanofi’s former Vice President for Corporate Licenses has joined the board of young biotech MedDay.
Philippe Goupit will become an independent non-executive director at MedDay, which was founded in 2011 and received an €8m ($10m) investment in 2013 from BPIFrance and Sofinnova. The firm develops new drugs for CNS diseases and plans to complete Phase III trials of a multiple sclerosis candidate in 2015.
Goupit has over 30 years’ experience in pharma, with more than 20 spent at Sanofi. He has particular experience with M&As and has led Investor Relations at the company.
