Certara
Certara, a biosimulation consultancy, has appointed Amin Rostami as Senior VP and Chief Scientific Officer.
Rostami previously worked as VP of R&D for Certara’s PK-modelling unit, Simcyp.
He also serves as a professor of systems pharmacology at the University of Manchester, UK, helping convert technology discoveries into tools for drug development.
He has won the 2010 Queen’s Award for Enterprise, and the OSCAR prize (Outstanding Scientific Contribution to Animal Replacement) from the Dr Hadwen Trust, a UK non-animal medical research charity.
Certara provides safety and efficacy modelling services to drug developers at discovery, pre-clinical and clinical stage.
