Injectable device maker Unilife has appointed Harry Hamill to its board and made Mary Kate Wold a lead independent director.
Hamill, 61, is a seasoned financial executive in the life science sector, who held several senior finance positions at Wyeth before his retirement including head of M&A, VP of finance for manufacturing and distribution, and CFO of Wyeth’s animal health business.
Mary Kate Wold joined the Unilife Board in 2010 and is CEO of the Church Pension Fund. She will serve as vice chair as well as lead independent director, as well as continuing to chair the strategic partnerships committee and sitting on the audit and nominating and governance committees. Wold was senior vice president of finance at Wyeth until its merger with Pfizer in 2009.
