Merck KGaA
German Merck has appointed IFPMA president Stefan Oschmann as CEO, a role he will take over from 62 year-old Karl-Ludwig Kley in April next year. Kley has spent nine years as head of Merck KGaA.
Oschman has been a member Merck’s executive board since 2011 and will take over as chairman next year. He was initially in charge of the pharma business before being appointed deputy chairman of the executive board and deputy CEO at the beginning of 2015, responsible for strategy and innovation.
