OticPharma, a private Israeli pharma company developing ear, nose, and throat therapies, has made Keith Katkin chair of its board.
Katkin is currently president and CEO of Avanir Pharmaceuticals, which he joined in 2005 as head of sales and marketing. At Avanir, he oversaw the approval of Nuedexta and the recent acquisition of the company by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co. He has also worked for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals during its IPO and sale to Johnson & Johnson, and for InterMune, Amgen and Abbott.
