According to Savin, the most difficult parts of the experiments surround three questions:
- How do you mix the material in a zero-g environment?
- How do you know what is happening in the vials? Will the camera be good enough?
- How do you get the water into the vial in a zero-g environment?
“All of these questions (and many more) needed to be answered and led us to other very interesting conversations about drug development, formulations, water, and how dependent upon gravity we are,” said Savin.
