The cold chain solution company, CSafe, has opened a new San Juan-based service center in conjunction with the launch of its new company, CSafe Puerto Rico LLC.

The new service center is adjacent to the island's Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU).

Before its opening, the company shipped more than one hundred CSafe active shipping containers to the facility.

In order to move CSafe RKN ULDs into the country – the company’s compressor-driver refrigeration unit – CSafe also purchased several 747F charter aircraft.

According to the company, the containers are being used to support the country’s growing manufacturing industry and as part of “a customer specific solution.”

Passive and small active solutions will be available for shipments leaving Puerto Rico. Additionally, CSafe will provide conditioned and ready to use passive and active solutions from its own facility in Dayton, Ohio.
