Alcami launches supply chain security offering
Alcami has announced its first to market Protect Your Brand™ offering, which it said will support companies looking to implement a backup supply option.
Syed T. Husain, Chief Commercial Officer of Alcami Corporation, explained in the company’s press release that Alcami created the offering to “quickly bridge unexpected gaps in a given supply chain.”
According to the company, as part of the program, Alcami initiates tech transfer and launches a qualification plan in advance of potential manufacturing needs.
No long-term commitment or annual purchase is required.
The offering can be used for small molecule drug substance and/or small molecule and biologics drug product in support of clinical, launch and commercial supply.
The three supply chain solutions included in the offering are concept to clinic, commercial level control, and post-commercial/secondary supply.
