Nitika to build 4th excipients plant near emerging Indian export hub
Nitika Pharmaceutical Specialties Pvt Ltd has said it will build a fourth pharmaceutical excipients plant in Nagpur, India.

The firm announced the investment last week according to reports in the Indian press, explaining that additional production capacity will help it cater for international markets.

The new plant, like the three existing facilities, will be located 15 miles from the Multi-model International Cargo Hub and airport at Nagpur (MIHAN), which is being developed as an export-focused economic development hub.

Privately owned Nitika claims it generates two third of its annual revenues from export markets.

The firm did not respond to a request for comment.
