The contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) will manufacture, package, and distribute the product from its facility in Karlskoga, which specializes in the production of semi-solid products.
“The agreement between Recipharm and Laccure is long term and spans over several years,” Erik Haeffler, VP Manufacturing Services at Recipharm told us. "We see this as an excellent opportunity to support Laccure in bringing a very exciting and novel product to the market by providing our expertise and capabilities.”
Haeffler explained the company is already equipped at its factory in Karlskoga to carry out “necessary remaining steps in the project as well as manufacturing for the launch of the product.”
“As volumes grow, there are plans to ensure corresponding capacity increase,” he added.
The next step in the project is to move into “launch preparations.”
