Maria Carell appointed Chairman of Board by Pharmalink
Maria Carell will chair the board of Directors at Pharmalink AB in Stockholm.
The Scandinavian speciality pharma firm also has a subsidiary in Oslo, working on its leading candidate – a corticosteroid formulation to treat renal neuropathies.
Carell has previously been Chief Executive Officer of Exeltis USA Inc, the branded division of pharmaceutical company Chemo Group, which she joined in 2014. She also served as President and CEO of Q-Med AB, a global medical device company, which was acquired by Galderma in 2011 for around $1Bn.
Other positions have included Sales, management and business development roles in Actavis Pharmaceuticals, Novartis and Johnson & Johnson.
