Teva moves in interim CEO Yitzhak Peterburg
Yitzhak Peterburg has been appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd.
This follows the mutual agreement between the Board of Teva and former-CEO Erez Vigodman to step down, including from the Teva Board of Directors.
The Israeli Big Pharma firm’s Board of Directors is undertaking a search to identify a permanent CEO.
Yitzhak has served as Chairman of Teva’s Board of Directors since January 2015. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Cellcom Israel Ltd, Director General of Clalit Health Services, a healthcare provider in Israel, and as CEO of Soroka University Medical Center in Beer-Sheva.
He also currently serves as a director on the board of Rosetta Genomics Ltd. and is the Chairman of Regenera Pharma Ltd, a Phase III startup.
