Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (BASi) has announced the promotion of Philip A. Downing to Senior Vice President, Preclinical Services.
Downing has worked for the company – which provides contract research services and monitoring instruments to drug development companies and medical research organizations – for nearly 20 years.
Throughout his career, Downing has more than 24 years of pharmaceutical experience in drug discovery, toxicology, non clinical and clinical research.
Previously, he worked for a clinical research laboratory, GFi Pharmaceuticals (now Covance Labs), as an Analytical Scientist designing and validating radiolabeled and non-radiolabeled assays.
