WuXi AppTec’s LabNetwork is collaborating with Reaxys in order to simplify customer’s purchasing decisions and expand exposure to the WuXi eCommerce platform.

WuXi AppTec previously adopted Elsevier's technology to extract and index more than 500m experimental details. At the time, the company told us the five-year agreement was the foundation for a long-term strategic and collaborative relationship.

As the next step in the relationship, LabNetwork's four million commercially available discovery and research compounds are now available on Elsevier’s chemistry database, Reaxys.

The integration will provide Reaxys users with access to both LabNetwork product availability and price information. Additionally, it will allow users to compare the cost of buying a compound versus making it internally.

This deepens integration of LabNetwork, WuXi’s eCommerce platform, with customers’ research and discovery workflows and expands key customers’ exposure to the WuXi eCommerce platform,” the company told us in a statement.

Based on our goal of connecting global scientists and high-quality suppliers through a cost-effective trading platform for research supplies, we believe this integration with Reaxys is an exciting and meaningful development.”
