Worldwide Clinical Trials
William “Bill” Hirschman (image right) has joined the leadership team at Worldwide Clinical Trials.
As the new executive vice president and head of global business development, Hirschman will lead Worldwide’s business development organization, which includes sales, sales operations, and proposal development.
“In my new role, I look to build a world-class commercial organization capable of taking Worldwide Clinical Trials to new heights. We aim to compete aggressively for studies in central nervous system, cardiovascular, and immune mediated inflammatory disorders (IMID), as well as rare diseases across these areas. Worldwide has a solid foundation of clinical and scientific expertise and a world-class commitment to customer service, as well as operational acumen in a wide range of study types, including complex Phase II studies. By building upon these strengths, our commercial team is going to help the company continue on a path of impressive growth,” Hirschman told Outsourcing-Pharma.com.
Hirschman was previously the global vice president of commercial operations at Fisher Clinical Services, though his career has spanned a range of roles within CROs, and pharmaceutical and scientific companies.
