Smithers Viscient
The global contract research organization (CRO) has made new hires on both sides of the Atlantic.
Rohit Harve has been appointed to the role of vice president, North American operations.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with our talented team of scientists and study directors to help our clients reach their study objectives while always seeking new and innovative ways to further the science of environmental safety,” Harve told us.
Harve was most recently at McKinsey and Company where he focused on operations and commercial excellence for healthcare clients.
Prior to that, he spent nearly 20 years in operations for pharmaceutical and medical technology industries at companies including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Roche Diagnostics, and Pfizer.
Smithers Viscient has also named David Mitchell as its European director of ecotoxicology.
Mitchell was previously employed as the general manager at Eurofins UK where he was responsible for both commercial and operational management of two Laboratories in the UK.
