Worldwide Clinical Trials
Worldwide Clinical Trials has appointed Karen Nowatkoski as vice president of clinical operations, site management where she will manage a team of clinical operations directors and managers, as well as clinical research associates.
"Having the opportunity to manage and support successful global clinical trial delivery over the past 20 years, I am confident that my past experience managing large global teams, process improvement and change management strategies will help Worldwide continue to achieve best-in-class clinical operations," Nowatkoski told us.
Moving into her new role, she said one of her top priorities is to further develop the company’s Clinical Research Associate (CRA) program.
"Worldwide recognizes the high impact value of CRAs, who are the lynchpin between sponsor needs and clinical site performance. The company is implementing a program to raise the profile and influence of CRAs so trials will gain from their experience, first hand immersion in site activities and direct connection to study operations," she said.
"Growing this program will command a portion of my management activities and help us achieve our goal to delight customers through stronger collaboration and site performance."
Last month, Worldwide Clinical Trials hired Bill Hirschman to lead its business development organization.
