The analytical and bioanalytical contract solutions provider is increasing capacity and adding staff to meet demand.

The expansion, which is expected to be completed next month, will increase the site’s footprint from 38,500 sq. ft. to nearly 58,000 sq. ft.

According to the company, the added space will enable it to increase its capacity for various services, including analytical method development and testing, microbiological evaluation, drug stability studies, testing of containers and medical devices, and utilities qualification and monitoring.

The company will be adding staff to support the increased demand.

SGS has also recently increased its extractables and leachables (E&L) capabilities at its Fairfield, NJ and Shanghai, China locations. It has also invested in its bioanalytical capabilities and elemental analysis at its French facilities in Poitiers and Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
