MedPharm launches new topical formulation testing technologies
MedPharm has launched automated testing systems for topical formulations it claims can help developers cut timelines.
The MedStat-HT system measures drug release from topical formulations across synthetic membranes. The MedFlux-HT tests how well drugs in topical formulations permeate and penetrate into and through human tissue.
Jon Lenn, MedPharm’s Vice President of US Operations, said the techs “improve the efficiency of data collection and decrease variations seen with conventional systems for IVRT and IVPT, so clients and their investors gain confidence in the data generated and ultimately get to the market sooner.”
