The biologics contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) has promoted several and added two industry veterans to its leadership team.
Among the new hires includes Randy Henrickson, who will be the new VP of manufacturing, and Dermot McCaul, VP of information technology.
Henrickson was previously the SVP and site head of KBI Biopharma’s Boulder, CO location after the company purchased the facility from Merck Biologics. He has held senior level positions at Merck and Amgen leading technical operations and process development.
“The biotech industry has been through a remarkable transformation over the last decade,” said Henrickson.
“Having said that, I believe the knowledge gained in that time has set the stage for the revolutionary discoveries that lie ahead,” he told us. “Personally, I’m excited to have the opportunity to join such a talented team of individuals and intend to integrate my knowledge and experience in characterizing and commercializing our clients' products to assist in the realization of new, life-changing therapies.”
