Bernard Pluta will lead the CDMO’s new global development organization.
According to the company, the newly established position follows the “ongoing transformation” of Recipharm’s development services.
Pluta is currently the general manager of Recipharm’s manufacturing and development operations in Pessac, France, a role which he will continue until a new hire has been appointed. He has also held executive positions with Theramex, Merck Serono and Teva.
In his new role he will report to CEO Thomas Eldered and be a part of the group management team.
Bernard told us he is excited and honored to take on the role and is looking forward to working with the company’s international teams to further improve its development services and expand its global customer base.
“The new organization will allow us to enhance our offering and create tailor-made, end-to-end development solutions for even the most challenging and complex projects. We're looking forward to the launch in the first half of this year,” he said.
Recipharm’s new development organization will be implemented during the first half of 2018, according to the company.
