Science Exchange adds ADME/tox services to marketplace
Corning provides absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME)/toxicology services. Through the agreement, it will also offer biological research products and other contract research services.
A spokesperson from Corning told us, “It [the agreement] provides access to a large community of research scientists and streamlines the engagement process.”
Elizabeth Iorns CEO of Science Exchange said in press release that Corning met the company’s “rigorous” quality and compliance standards.
This partnership marks a continuation of the agreements Science Exchange has made recently. The company has partnered with Agilent, LabCentral, Taconic, Bioanalytics, among others.
Science Exchange states that its online platform allows companies to order services from more than 2,500 scientific service providers.
Iorns previously told us, that Science Exchange provides small startups access to the same contract research organizations (CROs) used by big pharma companies. The platform also operates under a pre-established legal agreement to protect intellectual property (IP).
The outsourcing platform received data security certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework in 2017. This certification ensures that personal information is properly transferred and protected from unauthorized use making the company’s client data secure.
