Clinerion signs on Greek EHR provider

Clinerion continues to expand its Patient Network Explorer platform with the most recent addition of Sigmasoft, an EHR provider based in Greece.

Sigmasoft is a medical software and consulting services company based in Athens, Greece. Its MedExpress electronic health record (EHR)-based software is fully interoperable with the Greek National ePrescribing System, according to the company, and is used by more than 3,500 physicians across the country.

As per its partnership with Clinerion, Sigmasoft will help integrate health care institutions and physicians into Clinerion’s global Patient Network Explorer platform, which in turn will expand clinical research opportunities for patients in Greece and Cyprus.

Sigmasoft CEO and Founder Georgios Stefanidis said the company is looking forward to integrating more health care institutions across Greece and Cyprus into Clinerion’s Patient Network Explorer platform, “as well as providing real world evidence data, based on our existing customer base of physicians nationwide.”

Clinerion recently added its first Poland-based site to its network of global hospitals. The company also this year expanded its reach in Georgia through a partnership with the EHR provider Medsoft.
