Clinerion partners with Dubai-headquartered CRO

Clinerion partners with Clinart to expand its footprint in the Middle East and North African region while advancing research in the area.

The with partnership Clinart, a contract research organization (CRO) in the region, will provide Clinerion access to clinical trial sites and hospitals, which will be added to the Patient Network Explorer platform. Through the platform he sites will be more visible and accessible to global trial sponsors, bringing more studies to the Middle East and North Africa, according to the company.

According to a Clinerion spokesperson, “The middle east is an emerging market for clinical trials.”

 “They [the middle east] are motivated to conduct trials since clinical trials are the best option for them to stay up-to-date and follow the latest treatment options.”

Countries of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia will be the initial focus of the partnership with plans to progress into surrounding countries.

Alaa Assem, president and CEO of Clinart said in a statement, that by providing access to real world evidence (RWE) and analytics from the untapped region, the industry can generate a better understanding of disease prevalence and treatment patterns.

Clinerion has been expanding into various underrepresented regions​ through recent partnerships. The international network has tapped into Georgia, Poland, Estonia, Turkey, Greece, and other countries.

Through these partnerships, local hospitals have been added to the network establishing a source of RWE and real-world data (RWD) to share through the company’s partners to advance clinical research, trial enrollment, and accelerate studies.
