PCI opens new IL-based center of excellence
PCI Pharma Services (PCI) broke ground on the project in November 2018.
The expansion, completed this month, sees the location expand by 30,000 square feet, providing ‘increased flexibility and scalability’ for primary and secondary packaging, according to the company.
It also will provide labeling services as well as 2-8°C cold chain storage.
PCI Chief Operating Officer Brad Payne commented in a press release: “The Rockford Clinical facility expansion delivers significant new capacity across our core offerings of primary and secondary packaging as well as cold chain storage and distribution.”
The investment follows several on behalf of the company, including the addition of a third facility in San Diego, CA, this June, as well as a new dedicated clinical facility in Ireland last month.
According to the company, the Rockford site is the largest facility among its eight locations across the US, EU and Asia Pacific.
