VALSYNTHESE – Custom phosgenation under GMP
Phosgene is a powerful reagent allowing the straightforward synthesis of key intermediates such as chloroformates, acid chlorides, and carbamoyl chlorides. Phosgenation permits the selective and efficient production of isocyanates, N-carboxy anhydrides (NCA’s), carbonates, carbamides, and ureas.
Swiss custom manufacturer VALSYNTHESE has built a state of the art GMP phosgenation plant. Phosgene is generated continuously at 10 – 40 kg/h and supplied to a 4 m3 reactor.
Thus, VALSYNTHESE can support customers with phosgenations from the first development batches to commercial production.
