German technology giant Schott has signed an agreement with a Chinese firm to provide the fast-growing pharmaceutical market with a range of high-end glass packaging products.
Schott plans to add two giant glass melting tanks at its facility in Mainz, Germany, continuing the expansion of pharmaceutical tubing production capacity and creating 135 new jobs in the process.
German-based technology group Schott has formed a joint venture
with Kaisha in an attempt to gain access to the glass primary
pharmaceutical packaging market in India.
