Noxilizer
Noxilizer, a company providing nitrogen dioxide decontamination equipment and contract sterilization services to pharmaceutical manufacturers, has expanded its board of directors with three advisors.
Jack Ahrens, Tomotaka Goji and Charles Immel have joined the board of the private, twelve year-old company, which has offices in the US, UK and Japan.
Ahrens is a venture capitalist who founded Venture Capital Funds, and has served on the boards of Afmedica, Central Data, Micro Business Applications, MedVantx, and other firms.
Tomotaka (Tommy) Goji is similarly a managing partner at UTEC (The University of Tokyo Edge Capital, a Tokyo-based venture capital firm focused on early stage companies.
Charles Immel is an independent healthcare industry advisor, who served most recently in senior positions at Gambro, a European manufacturer of renal therapy products recently acquired by Baxter.
The President and CEO of Noxilizer, Lawrence Bruder, commented on the appointments, saying "Jack and Tommy provide relevant experience from their portfolio companies, while Chuck brings a hands-on perspective of leading a sterilization company, especially in operations, sales and marketing.”
