Unilife
Unilife, maker of drug delivery technology, has appointed finance veteran David Hastings as Chief Financial Officer. He will replace Dennis Pyers, who has held the role since 2010 and will become Senior Vice-President and Controller under the new CFO.
Hastings will join the company on February 23 from a role as CFO at Incyte Corporation. He has also held senior financial roles at ArQule, Genzyme (later bought by Sanofi), and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
In November Unilife signed what it called an “unprecedented” deal with Sanofi it predicted could bring over $1bn in annual sales.
The agreement makes Unilife the sole supplier of wearable injectors, in addition to a pre-existing deal to supply prefilled syringes.
