Icon has made a second hire this week with Hiroshi Ichikawa becoming vice president and general manager of the company’s operations in Japan.
Ichikawa joins Icon with 30 years of CRO and pharma experience in Japan. He was previously executive vice president and senior director of the regulatory science department at A2Healthcare Corporation, an Itochu company. He also served as head of Asklep after it acquired PPCJ Corporation, a CRO he founded in 2008. Ichikawa has also worked in leadership roles at CMIC Japan, and Sankyo.
