Appointments at RxTrials, BASi, Novella and Premier Research – People on the move
Ronald Kershner has been named as vice president (VP), biostatistics and data operations for North America at Premier Research Group. Kershner joins from Novella Clinical and has also worked at AAIPharma, inVentiv Clinical Solutions and Omnicare Research.
Novella Clinical has recruited Nick Dyer as EVP, global business development. Dyer joins from Quintiles where he was VP, drug development partnerships.
Adam Chasse has joined RxTrials as VP of business development. Chasse joins RxTrials, a network of investigative sites, from Quintiles where he was head of prime sites.
Sentrx has promoted Wade Weinzetl to VP, safety systems technologies. Weinzetl joined Sentrx in 2001 and was previously senior director, safety systems at the company.
Also, Sentrx has also given Lauren Stewart, VP, quality standards and TSG (technical services group) operations more responsibilities. Stewart will now lead a unit linking quality standards, corporate compliance, technology operations, validation and client implementation at Sentrx.
Michael Zhou has been named as senior director of research and development at BASi (Bioanalytical Systems Inc). Zhou last worked as director of bioanalytical chemistry and DMPK (drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics) at Synta Pharmaceuticals.
AmerisourceBergenhas appointed Steven Collis to its board of directors. Collis, currently president and chief operating officer at AmerisourceBergen, will become CEO on July 1.
Timothy Kulbago has been hired as president and CEO of newly formed ImageIQ. Kulbago has 14 years of experience in medical imaging, including a period at Merge Healthcare.
Ockham has named Harman Dubé as VP of its preclinical and regulatory affairs group. Dubé joins Ockham from Thrasos Innovation and also worked at Abbott Laboratories for a decade.
Cristóbal Thompson has joined Quintiles as country manager for global commercial solutions in Mexico. Thompson has worked at Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Teva and Schering-Plough during a 28 year career in sales, marketing and business development.
