Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at Trident, Agilux and Clinical Trials of America.

Andreas Tschirky ​has been named as leader of BioDuro​, the Beijing, China-based drug discovery services business acquired by PPD​. Tschirky worked at Roche for 11 years and has also held positions at Paul-Scherrer Institute.

Australia-based Trident Clinical Research ​has appointed David Fuller ​as chief medical officer. Fuller last worked at Arana Therapeutics and has also held positions at Genzyme, Orphan Medical and CeNeS.

Sean Maki ​has joined Agilux Laboratories ​as associate director of its newly launched in-vivo ​pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) services division. Maki previously worked at Concord Biomedical Sciences and Emerging Technologies and Charles River Laboratories.

Supply chain business Tompkins Associates ​has named John Musante ​as vice president (VP) of pharmaceuticals and medical device services. Before joining Tompkins Musante worked at Sentient, Ascend Therapeutics, PDI, GlaxoSmithKline and Rockett, Burkhead and Winslow.

Rick Coulon ​has been appointed as director of business development at PharmOptima​. In a 20 year career in pharma sales, marketing and business development Coulon has worked at Ciba Vision, Akorn, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, Stonebridge Pharma and Auriga Laboratories.
