Signant Health’s new partner program was established to help reduce scope creep and prevent miscommunication between CROs and sponsors, says VP.

According to the company – formerly CRF Bracket – the new Signant Health Partner Program marks ‘a significant investment’ and the aim is to enable clinical research organizations (CROs) ‘to better serve sponsors,’ specifically as it pertains to patient data, patient experience, clinical supplies, and endpoint quality solutions.

“We are investing in people and streamlined processes to support CRO partners, such as increased training, scientific input, bid defense support, and ongoing governance of relationship," explained Ken Billard, vice president of business development, Signant Health.

Billard added that the program was developed to strengthen the company’s CRO partnerships “to ultimately benefit sponsors.”

Program partners will receive exclusive commercial terms, business development support, joint marketing, product training, and dedicated resources for governance, according to the company.

“Our goal is to work more closely with CROs to provide strategic planning, scientific insight, bid defense support, and comprehensive training on the Signant Health patient-centered eClinical platform to ensure our joint proposals are appropriately scoped and as comprehensive, scientifically sound, and efficient as possible,” Billard told us.

“By defining best practices with CROs covering the proposal process and ongoing delivery of services, we believe we can prevent miscommunication and reduce scope creep that is common when vendors work together,” he added.
