Sigpack Systems introduces solutions for pharma applications
applications that include integrated solutions for secondary
blister packaging and a system for packaging pharmaceutical powders
that make their debut at Achema 2006.
The solution for the secondary packaging of blisters incorporates a pick and place feeding system, a horizontal flow-wrapping machine and a top-loading system for end-of-line packaging.
This combination of technologies offers users a highly economical solution. Sigpack Systems will also provide information on new stick pack and flat pouch systems.
These systems open a broad range of performance options, for the primary and secondary packaging of non-aseptic pharmaceutical powders.
Sigpack Systems, a Bosch Packaging Technology Company, already offer secondary packaging solutions such as its LTS model - a toploader for filling of cartons with exact counted quantity of packaged products.
The metering system fills up to 1000 products per minute (products in flow packs, e. g. washing powder tablets, mini bars etc.) in containers.
In addition, the control platform has been adjusted to Sigpack Systems primary packaging systems with Control Logix and is integrated as a system compound.
Sigpack also have the OBP, which has been designed for flat products such as flat pouches, 3-sided and 4-sided sealed pouches.
These can be loaded automatically into trays and cartons in one or more rows, standing vertically. Secondary packaging for various products such as; spices, soups, band-aids, candies with high productions volumes.

An output of up to 200 resp. 400 products / min depending on machine type can be achieved.
Stick pack machines are designed for powders and granular products. These machines achieve economical pricing by providing up to 20-lane output at speeds up to 100 packages per minute, per lane.
Starting from rollstock, these automatic form, fill and seal systems utilise auger or dosing cup and fill into a variety of paper, film or foil combinations.
