Medical technology company e-pill has unveiled a new automated pill
dispenser which delivers medications at the right time and in the
right amount, ensuring compliance.

The e-pill Med-Time XL is designed for anyone who requires multiple medications to sustain their medical care at home, such as seniors and those living with chronic illnesses.

The US government refers to medication non-adherence issues as a "national epidemic" so e-pill is launching its medicine robot to help establish a daily routine for delivering medications in the appropriate quantities, at the correct time each day, for up to 28 days before refilling.

The new robot is available in the US for patient-direct purchase and is priced at $249.95 (€198.70).

"Patient Compliance and Medication Adherence is a growing problem across the nation," said Stefan Solvell, e-pill's president and manager.

"This new e-pill robot should be very popular with Parkinson's patients or anyone needing to take pills multiple times per day."
