Appointments at WuXi PharmaTech, Sundia, CMC Biologics and Xoma – People on the move
Sundia MediTech has appointed Charles Maher as senior vice president (VP) of sales and marketing. Before joining Sundia Maher held positions at Azopharma, Proceryon Biosciences and Bio-Rad Laboratories.
David Wolton has been appointed as VP manufacturing at Denmark-based CMC Biologics. Wolton has worked in the biotech sector for 23 years at companies including Elan, Wyeth and Lonza.
WuXi PharmaTech has appointed Hui Cai as VP of business development. Before joining WuXi Cai was president of Inflexion BioPartners and has also worked at Huya Bioscience and Johnson & Johnson.
Xoma has appointed Susan Kramer as VP, project and alliance management. Kramer has 25 years experience at companies including Genentech, Anesiva and Corthera.
John Workman has been appointed executive VP and chief financial officer of Omnicare. Workman is joining Omnicare from HealthSouth Corporation and has previously held positions at US Can Corporation and Montgomery Ward & Company.
Analysis Group, a provider of economic expertise to major pharma and biotech companies, has appointed Mei Sheng Duh as managing principal of its Boston, Massachusetts, US office.
Duh joined Analysis Group in 2001 and has previously worked at Ingenix Pharmaceutical Services and Astra Pharmaceuticals, now AstraZeneca.
