News from Dr Reddy's and Theorem – People on the move
We begin this week with news from Dr. Reddy's Laboratories which has promoted CEO GV Prasad from Vice-Chairman to Chairman.
Prasad also serves on the boards of the Indian School of Business, Institute of Life Sciences, Infotech Enterprises, and Acumen Fund.
Sticking with Dr. Reddy's, the company has also promoted Satish Reddy to Vice-Chairman, in addition to his present role of Managing Director and COO.
Reddy has been at the company since 1993 when he joined as Executive Director, becoming Managing Director in 1997.

Up next we have Theorem Clinical Research who has announced the appointment of Sara Davis as vice president of global business development.
With over 15 years of experience in sales and management, Davis will be responsible for driving global strategic business development growth at the midsize CRO.

Finally this week, provider and developer of diabetes technologies, Islet Sciences has named Dr. Eitan Akirav as the latest member of its Scientific Board.
"This key addition to our Scientific Advisory Board is a testament to the solid progress we have made and the leading edge therapies for diabetes that we are focused on providing,” said Islet Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Jonathan Lakey.
Akirav is a Research Scientist at Winthrop-University Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Research at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Long Island, NY.
